During a podcast conversation with Bharti Singh, Ganesh Acharya recalled an interesting anecdote about getting an unsolicited telephone call from Allu Arjun mere days after he finished choreographing for ‘Pushpa: The Rule’. “Allu Arjun phoned me personally five days after working on the songs of Pushpa and appreciated my choreography. He informed me that people are enjoying his dance due to my hard work,” Ganesh Acharya divulged.

Ganesh Acharya added that this gesture impressed him greatly, as it was the first time a Bollywood artist had publicly shown such a clear appreciation. He also unveiled that Allu Arjun invited him to celebrate the success of the film at Hyderabad.
“I thought it would be a casual party, but when I arrived, I found a complete stage where Allu Arjun and director Sukumar were awarding lightmen and spot boys for their work on Pushpa’s success. It was something I never saw in Bollywood,” said Ganesh Acharya, highlighting the respectful and cooperative ethos of South Indian cinema.
